Why does my baby sleep with their arms up all the time?

It’s quite common for babies to sleep with their arms raised, but many parents still wonder what this means. Some experts suggest it might be a remnant of their time in the womb, while others believe it could be a way for babies to regulate their body temperature or simply find comfort. Seeing your little one in this position can be adorable yet a bit confusing.

Have any other parents noticed this behavior in their babies? Does it indicate that they feel secure, or is it just a natural sleeping pose? I’ve come across various theories, but I’m eager to hear about your experiences. At what point, if any, should we be concerned about this, or is it just a typical phase in their development? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

My baby has been doing the arm-up thing too, and I think it’s super cute! I read somewhere that it can help them self-soothe, so maybe it’s just their way of feeling safe while they sleep. I wouldn’t stress too much about it; most babies seem to go through this phase.

My baby slept like that for months! I read that it’s pretty normal and a lot of babies do it. As long as they’re comfortable and content, I wouldn’t worry. It’s just one of those cute quirks they have!
