What’s the best way to tie a newborn in a baby wrap carrier?

Using a baby wrap carrier can be a bit challenging, especially when it comes to securely tying it for your newborn. I just tried it with my little one, and while I love how close we can be, I found myself struggling with the various tying techniques. There are so many options out there, and I want to make sure I’m doing this safely and comfortably.

I’ve watched a few online tutorials, but they can be a bit overwhelming with all the different wraps and styles. I’m curious about your experiences—are there specific methods that have worked well for you? Any tips on keeping my baby secure while still having some freedom to move around would be really helpful.

Have any of you found a particular tying technique that works best for your newborn? What challenges did you face when you first started using a wrap carrier?

I remember feeling so confused with the wraps at first! The best method for me was the “front wrap cross carry” because it feels super secure and keeps the baby snug. Just make sure the fabric isn’t too tight around their face, and don’t be afraid to practice a bunch—it definitely gets easier with time!
