What are effective ways to soothe a colicky baby at night?

It can be really challenging when your baby is colicky and struggling to sleep. Many parents face the same issue and are looking for solutions that actually work. Have you discovered any successful techniques to help your little one settle down for the night?

So far, I’ve tried gentle rocking and playing white noise, but those methods don’t always do the trick. A friend recommended giving our baby a warm bath before bedtime, and I’m considering trying that approach. What calming routines or strategies have you found helpful with your own colicky baby? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We had a really tough time with our colicky baby too. One thing that worked for us was a warm bath followed by swaddling while holding her close—sometimes it seemed to make a big difference. Also, a little tummy massage while she was lying on her back helped her let out some gas, which seemed to make her more comfortable. Good luck!

I thought the warm bath would help too, but it didn’t work for my baby. Sometimes just a change of scenery helps, like a walk outside in the stroller. Fresh air can be magic at night!
