Finding ways to earn extra money can be tough, especially when you have kids at home. Many parents, like me, want to contribute financially but struggle to balance work and parenting duties. With my kids at different ages, it’s even trickier when I don’t have childcare options available.

I’ve explored a few avenues, such as online tutoring and selling crafts during nap times. While these have been decent starts, I feel they have their limits. I’ve also heard of parents who have found success with freelance writing or virtual assistance, which seem to offer more flexibility. I get that! Online tutoring is cool, but it can be pretty draining. Have you considered doing surveys or testing websites? You can do it whenever you find a free minute, plus the pay isn’t too bad for the time spent.

I’ve found that affiliate marketing can be pretty doable with kids around. You can create simple blogs or social media accounts to post stuff when you have a minute. It takes some time to build, but it might grow into something solid down the line. Plus, you can do it while they’re watching TV or playing.
