Is Sudafed safe while breastfeeding?

I’ve been dealing with a cold lately, and as a breastfeeding mom, I’m finding it challenging to manage my symptoms without worrying about what might affect my baby. I’ve heard that Sudafed could help with congestion, but I’m unsure if it’s safe to take while nursing. The information out there seems really mixed, which makes it confusing.

I hear you! I was worried about using anything while breastfeeding too. I ended up asking my doctor, and they said a little Sudafed was usually fine, but just for short-term use. Have you thought about any natural remedies like steam or saline nasal drops?
