Navigating screen time for toddlers can be challenging. While many experts highlight the benefits of educational programs in fostering learning and engagement, there are valid concerns about excessive screen time potentially hindering their development. As a parent, finding that balance is tough, especially with our hectic lives and the myriad of options out there.
I’ve recently started limiting screen time for my toddlers and focusing on interactive, educational apps. It’s a work in progress, but I’ve noticed they seem more engaged during our other activities as well. Still, I can’t help but wonder if I’m missing out on some advantages by keeping screens to a minimum.
Have any of you faced a similar struggle? What rules do you follow regarding screen time for your little ones? Are there certain shows or apps you recommend that have worked well for you?
