How can you earn money without childcare support?

Finding ways to earn extra money while caring for kids can be quite a challenge. The lack of reliable childcare and the need for flexibility make it difficult to discover practical solutions that won’t lead to more stress.

Many parents seem to have success with side gigs that allow them to work from home or involve their children in the process. Options like freelance work, selling crafts online, and providing tutoring services are popular. What strategies have you found effective for making money under similar circumstances? Do you have any tips for balancing work and family life while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere at home?

I’ve found that doing something like virtual tutoring or offering online classes works well because I can set my own hours. It’s also nice when the kids can be around, since they often pick up on what I’m teaching! Plus, selling homemade snacks or crafts locally can be fun and a great way to involve them in the process.

I totally get that struggle. I’ve started selling prints of my photography online while letting my kids help with packaging. It’s nice because I can keep an eye on them and make a little extra cash without too much stress. Balancing it all can be tricky, but involving them makes it kind of fun!
